Mukesh Ambani, Asia's wealthiest man, asserted on Thursday that every division within his expansive conglomerate, Reliance Industries, was developed from the ground up rather than being inherited. Speaking at India's most valuable company's annual shareholder meeting, Ambani, 67, outlined bold growth strategies.

He emphasized that Reliance is committed to long-term wealth creation rather than short-term profits. Highlighting the company's ventures in oil refining, gas production, petrochemicals, telecom, retail, and media, he stated that Reliance is moving towards ensuring energy security for India.

Ambani stressed that personal or family wealth is insignificant to him, as he prepares the next generation to take over. Reliance, which has climbed to the world's top 50 most valuable corporations, aims to double its value before its golden jubilee in 2027. Ambani confirmed that the company is building giga-factories to support green energy initiatives, positioning Reliance for future growth and profitability.
