Tragic Bus Accident in Ladakh's Leh District

A tragic bus accident occurred in Ladakh's Leh district, involving a vehicle carrying school staff to a wedding function. The bus fell into a gorge in the Durbuk area, Leh Deputy Commissioner Santosh Sukhadeve told PTI.

Local officials and police quickly responded, admitting the injured to a nearby hospital where they received first aid. Helicopters are being used to transport the 22 injured to the SNM Hospital and army hospital in Leh.

According to Sukhadeve, the condition of two among the injured is critical. Emergency services continue their efforts to ensure the well-being of all affected.
