PNN Budhavarpeta (Andhra Pradesh) [India], August 20: The International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF) and Sri Venkateswara Cots and Mattress partnered to host a charitable event for children at the SERUDS NGO orphanage in Budhavarpeta on August 15, 2024. This event underscored their collaborative efforts to enhance the lives of underprivileged children.

Organized by Velpula Madhu Kumar, with the strong support of volunteers Surya Narayana, Nagarju, Aarif, and V. Madhu Kumar, the event featured the distribution of essential supplies. These volunteers played a pivotal role in enriching the children's understanding of IYDF's mission and values.

Sri Venkateswara Cots and Mattress generously donated school bags, sunflower oil, flour, laundry soap, bathing soap, pulses, Upma Rava (Indian semolina), and ready-to-eat Pulihora (tamarind rice). These contributions met the children's basic necessities, significantly improving their daily lives.

The event began with introductions and detailed explanations of IYDF's history and mission. Volunteers elaborated on IYDF's commitment to supporting underprivileged students worldwide since its inception in 2012. This interaction provided the children with insights into how IYDF aims to enhance their education and living conditions.

Throughout the day, volunteers actively engaged with the children, conveying IYDF's values and the impact of charitable initiatives. The children's enthusiasm and gratitude highlighted the significance of such support.

Velpula Madhu Kumar reflected, "Organizing this event brought me immense joy. My passion for helping others is immense, despite its challenges. I am deeply thankful for the opportunity to be part of this project and grateful to IYDF for their unwavering support."

This aid event not only supplied essential items but also cemented the partnership between IYDF and Sri Venkateswara Cots and Mattress. Both organizations are dedicated to ongoing efforts to improve the futures of underprivileged children, aiming to bring more hope and opportunities through such collaborations.
