In a significant effort to support cancer patients, Gaurs Group, in association with their cricket team Gorakhpur Lions, organized a charity match against Meerut Mavericks. The event, held at Gaur City Stadium in Greater Noida West, raised Rs 36 lakhs, which was donated to Yashoda Hospital for cancer treatment.

Manoj Gaur, CMD of Gaurs Group, emphasized the group's dedication to community welfare and health promotion through sports. Gaurs Group aims to foster talent via local sports leagues and community engagement. The match was attended by notable figures including Rajeev Shukla, Vice President of BCCI, DS Chauhan, Chairman of UPCA, Rajesh Dubey, owner of Meerut Mavericks, and Dr. P.N. Arora, Chairman of Yashoda Hospital.

On the cricketing front, Rinku Singh captained Meerut Mavericks to an 8-wicket victory. Aryan Juyal's 68 runs for Gorakhpur Lions were commendable, but Rituraj Sharma's 73 runs secured the win, earning him the Man of the Match award. The event also featured significant contributions from local cricket stars.
