Chandrababu Naidu Lays Foundation for Rs 3,683 Crore Industrial Projects in Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday laid the foundation, inaugurated, and inked deals with multiple companies amounting to Rs 3,683 crore, slated to create 15,280 jobs.
The initiatives included inaugurating 15 industrial projects with a collective investment of Rs 1,570 crore, expected to generate 8,480 jobs. Additionally, the foundation for seven projects with an investment of Rs 900 crore was laid, which has the potential to create 2,740 jobs.
The chief minister also signed five deals involving Rs 1,213 crore, paving the way for 4,060 new jobs. In a post on 'X', Naidu shared, "Today, at Sri City, we paved the way for further industrial development."
During a roundtable with industrialists, Naidu emphasized his commitment to job creation and economic development, highlighting Sri City's success with 220 companies from 30 countries investing USD 4.6 billion and generating USD 4 billion in exports. He expressed hopes that Sri City would match or surpass international SEZs like Shenzhen.
Furthermore, Naidu pointed out Andhra Pradesh's emphasis on electric vehicles, hybrid energy sources, and green hydrogen development, positioning the state as a leader in sustainable energy solutions.
