Tragic Train Collision in Zagazig Leaves Multiple Casualties

At least three people have been confirmed dead and several others injured following a collision between two passenger trains in Zagazig, northeast of Cairo, according to Egypt's health ministry on Saturday.
The ministry reported that five of the injured are in critical condition. All wounded individuals have been transported to hospitals, and rescue operations are currently in progress.
The railway authority clarified that the collision involved a train traveling from Zagazig to Ismailia and another heading from Mansoura to Zagazig. The tragic incident comes amid Egypt's ongoing efforts to modernize its aging transportation infrastructure, including trains and railway lines.
