Container Traffic Decline at Cochin's International Terminal

DP World-operated International Container Transshipment Terminal (ICTT) in Cochin saw a 7 percent drop in container traffic in July, handling 73,376 TEUs. Despite this dip, the facility maintained traffic above 72,000 TEUs for three consecutive months, offering connectivity to various global regions.

Container traffic at DP World-operated International Container Transshipment Terminal (ICTT) at Cochin fell 7 percent to 73,376 TEUs in July compared to the previous month, according to the company. In June, the ICTT handled 79,044 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), the company stated.

However, this marks the third consecutive month that container handling at the facility exceeded 72,000 TEUs, the statement added.

DP World's ICTT continues to provide mother vessel (mainline) connectivity to crucial global regions, including the Far East, Southeast Asia, Middle East, Europe/Mediterranean, and Singapore.
