Train Services Resume on Bengaluru-Mangaluru Route After Landslip Restoration

Train services between Bengaluru and Mangaluru resume after restoration of tracks disrupted by landslips between Ballupet and Sakleshpur. Services had been cancelled due to landslips from July 26 to August 9, and fresh landslides further delayed restoration works. Three overnight trains were short-terminated during the disruption.

Rail services on the Bengaluru-Mangaluru route have resumed following track restoration work required after landslips affected the segment between Ballupet and Sakleshpur.

Train services were originally halted following a landslip on August 10, leading to the short-termination of three overnight trains on this route.

Persistent landslides, particularly between Yadakumari and Kadagaravalli on the Sakleshpur-Subrahmanya Road Ghat stretch, caused continued disruptions from July 26 to August 9, complicating the restoration efforts.
