Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has instructed officials to formulate an action plan aimed at setting up 100 industrial parks across the state, with each park covering 100 acres of land.

The directives were issued during a review meeting of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and industries departments at the secretariat.

Naidu emphasized the establishment of food processing, aqua, horticulture, and mineral-based industrial parks, mentioning that the state provides a conducive atmosphere for such industries.

"Conduct a detailed study on the current number of industrial development parks and identify opportunities for new ones…create plans for area-based industrial parks focusing on backward regions in the state," Naidu said in an official statement.

The Chief Minister also urged officials to take steps to attract industrialists for the setup of additional parks, noting that the state currently has only 53 industrial parks.

He called for the revival of the Malavalli industrial park in Vijayawada, criticizing the previous government's neglect of the facility.

Additionally, Naidu asked officials to draft an action plan for developing integrated ports through Public-Private Partnership (PPP).
