Air India Express Expands Daily Flight Network
Air India Express has launched six new daily flights to enhance its domestic network. These include routes from Chennai and Kolkata, with the first direct flight on the Guwahati-Jaipur sector. The airline, part of the Tata Group, operates over 380 daily flights with a fleet of 82 aircraft.

Air India Express has launched six new daily flights, including routes from Chennai and Kolkata, as the airline expands its domestic network.
The new flights feature two from Kolkata, three from Chennai, and the first direct flight on the Guwahati-Jaipur sector, according to a statement on Tuesday.
The routes introduced include Chennai-Bhubaneswar, Chennai-Bagdogra, Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram, Kolkata-Varanasi, Kolkata-Guwahati, and Guwahati-Jaipur.
The Kolkata-Varanasi flight will depart at 7:40 am, reaching Varanasi at 9:05 am. The return flight leaves Varanasi at 9:40 am and arrives in Kolkata at 11:10 am daily.
Similarly, the Kolkata-Guwahati flight will take off at 12:10 pm, landing in Guwahati at 1:25 pm. The return leaves Guwahati at 1:55 pm, arriving in Kolkata at 4:35 pm daily.
The airline announced that these routes, five of which are new, are part of its expanding network. The newly introduced Guwahati-Jaipur flight is an exclusive route served by Air India Express.
To address increasing demand on the Chennai-Thiruvananthapuram route, previously served with two weekly flights, the airline has added an additional daily service, now offering nine flights a week.
Air India Express, a Tata Group entity, operates over 380 daily flights with a fleet of 82 aircraft, including 54 Boeing 737s and 28 Airbus A320s.
