FAA Launches Multiple Enforcement Actions Against Boeing

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has 16 active enforcement cases against Boeing, underscoring ongoing regulatory scrutiny of the aircraft manufacturer.
FAA official Brian Knaup revealed during a hearing that eight of these cases arose after a January mid-air emergency involving Alaska Airlines MAX 9. Additionally, eight other cases date back to 2020.
Generally, the FAA handles between four to six enforcement actions related to Boeing each year.
