HYDERABAD: Girls worldwide have demonstrated their potential, often excelling with the right opportunities and resources. However, many parts of India still grapple with providing girls access to education. Addressing this crucial issue, BBG Bangaru Talli remains committed to empowering girls through education in rural and remote areas.

BBG's ambitious mission is to empower 2 million girls by 2040. With approximately 170,000 girls in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh already benefiting from its initiatives, the impact is tangible. Celebrating Chairman and Managing Director M.V. Mallikarjun Reddy's birthday, BBG recently organized a motivational event, "Prerana," at Devnar Blind School in Begumpet. The event aimed to ignite determination and resilience in students.

Focus on girl child empowerment was paramount, with the program designed to build confidence, self-esteem, and leadership skills. Experts like Neeraja Ankapalli and Mrs. Kasturi Usha conducted sessions on goal-setting, overcoming obstacles, and the value of education. Mallikarjun Reddy stressed the importance of inclusive education and equal opportunities, saying, "Empowering the girl child is crucial for a harmonious society."

The students' enthusiasm and determination left a lasting impression on all attendees. The event concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony and a renewed commitment to supporting the empowerment of the girl child. The BBG Bangaru Talli initiative underscores its dedication to marginalized communities and fostering inclusive growth for societal transformation.
