With India emerging as a hub for Global Capability Centres (GCCs), a new report reveals that 78% of professionals expect these centers to significantly create job opportunities, especially benefitting the temporary workforce in the country.

The report by HR services provider Genius Consultants indicates that GCCs are seen as catalysts for job creation, particularly for gig workers and temporary staff. This optimistic outlook highlights the potential of GCCs to diversify and expand employment opportunities in an evolving job market.

According to the report, almost all surveyed professionals agree that GCCs play a crucial role in adopting advanced technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and the Internet of Things (IoT). These centers contribute significantly to enhancing India's tech landscape and fostering innovation across various sectors.

Additionally, 94% of respondents believe that GCCs will positively influence India's economic output through increased investments, technology transfer, and job creation. However, a small fraction (3%) hold a contrasting view.

84% of survey participants are confident that multinational corporations establishing GCCs in India will lead to improved job availability and more opportunities for local professionals. This sentiment underscores the dual benefits of technological capabilities and diverse employment opportunities brought about by GCCs.
