Amazon India has claimed a significant achievement, stating that it has delivered 50% of Prime membership orders within the same day or the next day in 2024. This rapid delivery is aimed at providing unmatched convenience to Prime members.

The Prime membership in India costs Rs 299 per month or Rs 1,499 annually, offering members benefits such as free or discounted delivery across a wide selection of products, including eye liners, baby products, garden tools, watches, and phones.

''In India, nearly 50% of all Prime member orders have arrived the next day, same day, or faster,'' Amazon stated. The company credits advanced AI and machine learning for optimizing delivery speeds and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Amazon India's extensive infrastructure includes fulfilment centers in 15 states, sortation centers in 19 states, over 1,950 delivery stations, and more than 28,000 third-party delivery partners. They claim to deliver over 10 lakh items on the same day and more than 40 lakh items the next day to its Prime members.
