Government's Commitment to Boost Chemicals and Petrochemicals Industry

Union Chemicals and Fertilizers Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda on Saturday announced that the government is prepared to make significant policy and programme interventions to overcome challenges faced by the chemicals and petrochemicals industry and stimulate the sector's growth.
Nadda's statement came during the launch of the 13th edition of the India Chem 2024 event, set to take place in Mumbai this October. The Minister underscored the importance of aligning the industry's growth with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a USD 5 trillion economy.
Nadda assured industry representatives that the政府 will implement necessary changes in strategies and policies to support the sector. He also urged the industry to concentrate on reducing imports, investing in R&D, and enhancing skills. India Chem 2024 aims to showcase the vast potential of the Indian chemical industry and its diverse segments.
