The rising Indian aviation sector is drawing global investors to the country. Capitalizing on this trend, Panasonic Avionics Corporation, a leader in in-flight engagement and connection (IFEC), has launched a new software design and development center in Pune, India. This facility aims to deliver IFEC services to a diverse client base, including Air India and Vistara, as well as various global airlines across Europe, the Middle East, and North America.

"From here in Pune, the Panasonic Avionics center supports most of our global clients in Middle Eastern, European, and North American airlines," Ken Sain, Panasonic Avionics CEO, told ANI. Currently, over 200 leading airlines and 15,000 aircraft worldwide, encompassing both narrow and wide-body planes, have installed Panasonic Avionics' in-flight services, satellite Wi-Fi connectivity, and digital solutions.

On Wednesday, Panasonic Avionics inaugurated its in-flight engagement and connectivity solutions in Pune in the presence of Murlidhar Mohol, the Minister of State for Aviation. The event was attended by Panasonic Avionics' CEO Ken Sain, CTO Satyen Yadav, and other dignitaries and industry leaders. During the inauguration, Minister Murlidhar Mohol underscored the importance of such initiatives in strengthening India's aviation infrastructure and generating employment opportunities.

"The government's commitment to supporting aviation sector growth and partnerships with leading technology providers like Panasonic Avionics is pivotal," he noted. CEO Ken Sain expressed enthusiasm for the new center, stating, "This facility demonstrates our commitment to offering unmatched service and support to our clients. We are thrilled about the innovation and customer satisfaction opportunities it brings."

Panasonic Avionics' CTO Satyen Yadav added, "Our new software design and development facility in Pune will be integral to our global operations, ensuring we uphold the highest standards of service excellence and technological innovation." The establishment of the Panasonic Avionics Service Centre in Pune marks a significant milestone, reinforcing the company's presence in India and its dedication to the region's burgeoning aviation industry.
