Out of the planned 24 river bridges on the 508-km corridor, nine have now been finished, according to the latest update from NHSRCL. The newly completed bridge connects Vapi and Bilimora stations and comprises four full-span girders, each 40 meters in length.

The bullet train project, spanning 508 km with 12 stations, is progressing rapidly. With all civil contracts awarded and substantial progress in both viaduct and pier work, the project is on track to commence its first phase between Surat and Bilimora by 2026.
