A truck collided with a trailer on the Munirka Flyover in southwest Delhi on Tuesday morning, causing significant traffic congestion on the stretch, police said. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southwest) Rohit Meena confirmed that no one was injured in the accident. However, the collision temporarily halted traffic movement on the stretch, which resumed later, he added.

The Delhi Traffic Police took to X to alert commuters about the traffic issues on Outer Ring Road from IIT Delhi to Delhi Cantonment. Two hours later, the police shared another update that the vehicles had been removed and traffic movement had resumed. In a separate post, the police mentioned that traffic was also affected on Outer Ring Road from Modi Mill flyover to Nehru Place Flyover due to ongoing work by the Public Works Department (PWD).

Commuters vented their frustrations on social media, highlighting significant traffic jams in various parts of the city, including Mahipalpur, near Bhajanpura petrol pump, Rohini court, and the stretch from Modi Mill flyover to Kalkaji temple, among other areas.
