SEOUL, Oct 22 (Reuters) - In a decisive move, South Korea announced it would take calculated countermeasures to confront the growing military collaboration between Russia and North Korea, Deputy National Security Adviser Kim Tae-hyo revealed in a Tuesday briefing.
South Korean authorities have demanded the immediate pullout of North Korean troops sent to Russia for the ongoing war with Ukraine. Kim criticized Pyongyang for its actions, describing them as akin to those of a 'criminal organisation,' and committed to collaborating with allied nations to craft effective responses.
Speculation continues over South Korea's potential supply of offensive weapons to Ukraine, as reported by Yonhap news agency, citing informed sources within the presidential office.
