A new study from BML Munjal University's Industry 5.0 and AI report indicates that 44% of organizations have noticed a significant rise in productivity following AI integration. The findings underscore AI's transformative role across diverse sectors, including finance, healthcare, and manufacturing.
Although AI brings innovation, it also presents challenges. About 34% of companies face a critical shortage of skilled AI personnel, hampering their ability to leverage AI fully. This skills gap is prompting the launch of mentorship initiatives, with 31% of firms focusing on upskilling their workforce.
The report also emphasizes the importance of responsible AI governance, with 38.3% of organizations implementing ethical AI guidelines. These initiatives aim to tackle concerns like algorithmic bias and data privacy, which remain significant hurdles for sectors aiming to harness AI's full potential.
