In a significant move to improve departmental fund management and project development, Karnataka Rural Infrastructure Development Limited (KRIDL) unveiled Gandhi Sakshi Kayaka 2.0. The software, also known as the Work Monitoring System, was launched by Minister Priyank Kharge on Gandhi Jayanti.

According to an official statement, Gandhi Sakshi Kayaka 2.0 aims to streamline the sanctioning and utilization of funds for various projects, ensuring efficient accounting and monitoring of infrastructure work across the state. This initiative highlights KRIDL's commitment to enhancing transparency and effectiveness in rural development.

Minister Kharge emphasized the importance of transparency and efficiency in KRIDL's operations. He stated that the new software, developed by the Center for Smart Governance, is a crucial step towards better governance and effective service delivery. The system includes features such as direct fund deposits into KRIDL's central account, online registration for group leaders and material suppliers, and the ability to upload geotagged photos for project progress tracking. These features collectively enhance monitoring, oversight, and accountability.
