India's Groundbreaking 4G Rollout by 2025: Key Targets Unveiled

Union Minister Jyotiraditya M Scindia revealed on Wednesday that India's indigenous 4G technology stack is set for rollout by mid-2025 as part of the nation's drive toward technological self-sufficiency.
During his keynote address at the 51st AIMA National Management Convention, Scindia emphasized three strategic targets: achieving 100% digital connectivity across the country, boosting domestic production in the telecom sector, and ensuring India is equipped with future-ready technology.
Scindia highlighted the significant progress, noting the installation of nearly four and a half lakh towers, with plans for an additional 20,000 towers backed by a Rs 44,000 crore investment. He also announced a transparent upcoming Telecom Act aimed at revolutionary changes in the sector.
