In a significant development, India and the UAE have formalized a partnership with a Memorandum of Understanding to enhance nuclear plant operations. The agreement was signed by Bhuwan Chandra Pathak, Chairman and Managing Director of India's Nuclear Power Corporation, and Mohamed Al Hammadi, CEO of the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation.
This MoU, inked during Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's visit to India, aims to foster collaboration in developing supply chains, sharing operational expertise, and executing nuclear consulting services. It also focuses on human resource development, training, and research.
The agreement symbolizes a step forward in peaceful nuclear energy cooperation between the two nations, emphasizing the mutual benefits expected from this partnership.
