The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) organized the 6th Future Tech Congress, centering on 'India's Component Conundrum,' at Sheraton, Whitefield, Bengaluru. Experts deliberated on building a robust Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) ecosystem.

Padma Bhushan Dr. Arogyaswamy Paulraj, an Indian-American electrical engineer, highlighted the necessity to foster innovation and entrepreneurship for India's semiconductor industry. The event also discussed reducing dependency on imported components to achieve India's $30 trillion economy goal.

Key technologies like Generative AI, the Industrial Metaverse, and Quantum Technology were highlighted, alongside sectors such as Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Mobility. Prominent speakers included Abhijeet Sinha, Ramakrishna Srinivasa, and Sandeep Nelamangala. The Future Tech Congress aimed to drive India's technological innovation and digital transformation journey.
