Jio's Ambitious Home Broadband Expansion Plan
Jio aims to add a million broadband homes every month to achieve 100 million home broadband customers quickly. The company is also extending broadband services to 20 million small and medium businesses, schools, hospitals, and doctors. JioAirFiber reached its first million customers within six months.

Jio is setting an ambitious goal of adding a million broadband homes every month in a bid to swiftly reach 100 million home broadband customers. This revelation came from RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani during RIL's 47th Annual General Meeting.
Ambani highlighted that JioAirFiber gained its first million customers in just six months. Leveraging deep-tech capabilities and optimizing processes, the next million air fibre customers were acquired in a record 100 days.
Beyond home broadband, Jio plans to connect over 20 million small and medium businesses, 1.5 million schools and colleges, over 70,000 hospitals, and 1.2 million doctors with broadband services.
