Kerala Hosts Global Robotics Round Table to Foster Tech Innovation

Kerala's Industries Department will host a Robotics Round Table on August 23 at Bolgatty Island to establish the state as a technological hub. The event will include experts, startups, and discussions on robotics technology. Organized by KSIDC, the meet will feature notable speakers, exhibitions, and investment pitches.

Kerala is gearing up to host a Robotics Round Table on August 23 at Bolgatty Island, part of its initiative to become a global leader in innovative technology, the state Industries Department announced on Monday.

State Industries Minister P Rajeeve stated that the day-long event will feature notable experts from around the world who will discuss Kerala's potential to become a hub for robotics technology. Organized by the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) in collaboration with the Department of Industry and Commerce, the round table will include three insightful sessions.

A total of 195 startups and over 400 delegates will attend, providing startups and Industry and Enterprise Development Centers (IEDCs) an opportunity to pitch their ideas to a high-level panel, attracting investments and business opportunities. The event will also showcase 35 exhibition stalls. Among the speakers are Armada AI VP Prag Mishra, Industrial AI Accenture MD Derick Jose, and startup mentor Robin Tommy.

In the first session, Kerala Technical University and Digital University Vice Chancellor Dr. Saji Gopinath will discuss future innovations and commercial growth within the governmental industrial community, alongside industry leaders such as Inker Robotics CEO Rahul P Balachandran and Ira CEO Pallavi Bajuri. The second session will feature career experiences from experts like GenRobotics Co-founder Nikhil N P and Asimov Robotics CEO Jayakrishnan T, moderated by Kerala Startup Mission CEO Anoop Ambika.

The Robotics Round Table is part of a series of initiatives targeting the enhancement of Kerala's tech ecosystem. These initiatives include a recent International Conclave on Gen AI and upcoming roadshows in various cities, culminating in a Global Investor Meet in Kochi next January.
