Tanla Platforms Limited, India's largest CPaaS provider, has reported a significant rise in its financial metrics for the first quarter of FY25, ending June 2024. Revenue grew 10% year-over-year to INR 1,002 Cr, while gross profit climbed 11.7% to reach INR 269 Cr, achieving a gross margin of 26.9%. EBITDA saw a 3.5% rise to INR 189 Cr with an EBITDA margin of 18.8%. Profit after tax increased by 4.3% to INR 141 Cr, translating to an earnings per share growth of 4.3% year-over-year to INR 10.50.

Uday Reddy, Founder Chairman & CEO, expressed satisfaction with the company's strategic progress. He highlighted the go-live of the MaaP platform for Google RCS in July 2024 and a significant partnership with a global tech major focused on combatting messaging scams through Wisely ATP. Reddy emphasized that these initiatives underscore Tanla's leadership in the OTT space and its commitment to future growth.

Additionally, Abhishek Kumar Jain was appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer, effective from August 1, 2024. He brings nearly two decades of experience from Wipro Limited. Tanla has also been recognized as a 'Visionary' in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for CPaaS. The company will discuss these financial results in a conference call scheduled for July 19, 2024.
