Telecom Titans Unite: Scindia Charts New Growth Roadmap

This marks the first interaction post-NDA's third-term initiation, focusing on consumer interests and telecom advancements.

Union Telecom Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia spearheaded a significant meeting on Tuesday with top telecom industry leaders, including Reliance Jio Chairman Akash Ambani, Bharti Airtel's Sunil Bharti Mittal, and Vodafone Idea's Akshaya Moondra, aiming to outline a strategic growth roadmap for the sector.

This event represents the telecom sector's first engagement with the minister under the third term of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's NDA government. Additionally, it marks the first industry meeting following recent mobile tariff hikes ranging from 10-27 per cent.

During the deliberations, Scindia emphasized a collaborative strategy for the sector's growth, balancing consumer and national interests. "We have identified a deep agenda for these committees. Now, members will work together to achieve our goals," he stated.
