GX Group Anticipates Union Budget to Bolster 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' in Telecom

Telecom gear maker GX Group is anticipating the upcoming Union Budget to emphasize 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat' by promoting self-reliance in the communication equipment segment. According to a top company official, this focus is crucial for data security and economic growth.

The GX Group, which manufactures key components such as Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) gears for fiber-based broadband networks, also produces routers, switches, and IoT devices in India.

Speaking to PTI, GX Group CEO Paritosh Prajapati announced the company's intention to expand its Indian manufacturing unit with a substantial Rs 100 crore investment within the current financial year. He noted that for two decades, the Union Budget has centered on 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat,' and this year should be no different given the strategic importance of telecom equipment.
