Consumer electronics giant Samsung has forged a partnership with One97 Communications Ltd, the parent company of Paytm, to integrate travel and entertainment services into Samsung Wallet for Indian users.

In a significant move, users of Samsung Galaxy smartphones can seamlessly book flights, buses, movie tickets, and events directly via the digital wallet. The functionality allows tickets bought through Paytm and Paytm Insider to be added effortlessly to Samsung Wallet, enhancing user convenience.

'The Paytm app has become the go-to platform for millions of Indians for travel and event bookings,' said Madhur Chaturvedi, Senior Director, MX Business at Samsung India. He added, 'This partnership aligns with our efforts to provide further convenience to our users.' Upgrading the Samsung Wallet app through the Galaxy Store will enable Galaxy users to access these new features.
