Airtel brings in-flight roaming plans for prepaid and postpaid customers

Bharti Airtel has launched in-flight roaming plans for its prepaid and postpaid customers, allowing them to stay connected while onboard a flight.

The in-flight offerings will power the on-board travel experience, including voice, data and SMS services. Both postpaid and prepaid plans start at Rs 195 and reach as high as Rs 595. Each plan comes with a 24-hour validity period.

• Rs 195: 250MB data | 100 Min outgoing calls | 100 Outgoing SMS
• Rs 295: 500MB data | 100 Min outgoing calls | 100 Outgoing SMS
• Rs 595: 1GB data | 100 Min outgoing calls | 100 Outgoing SMS

Additionally, customers subscribed to roaming packs priced at Rs. 2997 for prepaid and Rs. 3999 for postpaid and above will automatically enjoy the in-flight roaming benefit at no additional cost.

Airtel has teamed up with Aeromobile to enable the best in-flight connectivity across 19 airlines flying across different international sectors. The telco has a 24/7 contact centre and a dedicated WhatsApp number (99100-99100) to lend support to customers during their travel and resolve their queries in real time.

Customers can also use the Airtel Thanks app to manage data usage, buy additional minutes, and get real-time billing details.
