After being sent in to bat, Kaur dazzled with an impressive 54 off 33 balls, propelling MI to a formidable 179/6. The MI bowling unit then stepped up, with notable contributions from Shabnim Ismail (2/17) and Amelia Kerr (3/34), managing to bowl out Gujarat for 170 despite a valiant 61 from Bharti Fulmali.
The triumph sees Mumbai Indians tie with Delhi Capitals on 10 points, aiming for a top finish against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the loss places Gujarat Giants in the eliminator against the second-place team despite ending with eight points.
