Tamim Iqbal Hospitalized After Chest Pain During Cricket Match
Former Bangladesh cricket captain Tamim Iqbal was hospitalized after experiencing chest pain during a match in Dhaka. Initially, a helicopter was arranged to transfer him, but he was eventually taken by road to Fazilatunnesa Hospital. Iqbal had previously announced retirement from international cricket twice.

The incident happened during the first innings of the match between Mohammedan Sporting Club and Shinepukur Cricket Club.
Initially considered for airlifting, Iqbal was eventually transported by road to Fazilatunnesa Hospital. Tamim, who retired from international cricket in January, previously reversed a retirement decision in July 2023 after intervention from Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
