Mary Earps, renowned England goalkeeper and Paris Saint-Germain star, has made history as the first female soccer player to be honored with a wax figure at Madame Tussauds. Following England's impressive 2023 Women's World Cup run, Earps was chosen by public vote to be immortalized at the famous London museum.
Creating the wax figure was a year-long collaboration, culminating in the unveiling of Earps dressed in her iconic green goalkeeper's kit from the World Cup final. Speaking to reporters, the 31-year-old highlighted, "This is not about me. This represents the incredible growth of women's football and its promising future."
As England prepares for upcoming challenges, it has secured a place in the 2025 European Championship to defend its title, and will face Olympic champions, the United States, in a friendly match at Wembley on November 30.
