Star Indian shuttlers PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen are set to spearhead India's charge at the Kumamoto Masters Japan Super 500 tournament, commencing on Tuesday.
After underwhelming performances at the Paris Olympics, both players are eager to regain their form. Sindhu managed a quarterfinal appearance at the Denmark Open Super 750, while Sen had early exits in both the Arctic Open Super 500 and Denmark Open.
Despite initial setbacks, Sindhu remains optimistic, citing rigorous training with new coaches Anup Sridhar and Lee Syun Il. Meanwhile, Sen's mental resilience will be tested after his close miss for a medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
