Ruben Amorim Set to Take Manchester United Reins: A Pre-Break Deal
Ruben Amorim will manage Sporting for three more games before taking over as Manchester United's manager. Reports suggest Sporting agreed to waive his release clause, allowing his transition. United made the move after sacking Erik ten Hag, with Ruud van Nistelrooy as interim manager.
Ruben Amorim will remain at the helm of Sporting for three more matches before assuming the managerial position at Manchester United, according to Portuguese media reports on Wednesday.
The transition comes as Sporting reportedly agreed to Amorim's early release in exchange for a hefty 10 million euro release clause, following Manchester United's willingness to pay the amount.
The move follows the dismissal of Dutch manager Erik ten Hag, with former striker Ruud van Nistelrooy acting as interim manager in the meantime.
