Bengal Warriorz skipper Fazel Atrachali lauded Nitin Dhankar, calling him the team's 'star' player, even in defeat. The Warriors' captain, alongside ace raider Maninder Singh, faced off against Jaipur Pink Panthers on Sunday, marking their debut pairing.

Despite strong individual performances, the Bengal Warriorz succumbed to a slim defeat in their opening Pro Kabaddi League Season 11 game. Atrachali, reflecting on the match, noted, "This was our first game, and Jaipur Pink Panthers had a stroke of luck in the final minutes. However, we're learning from this, and the long season provides ample opportunity to bounce back."

Despite the initial setback, Atrachali was optimistic, "It is fortunate this happened early. We've time to refine our strategies, and our fighting spirit remains intact. Nitin's top-scoring performance was commendable—his excellence motivates the team," he added. The Warriorz now prepare to face UP Yoddhas on Thursday, with coach Prashant Surve planning meticulously.
