The Indian Hockey Team touched down at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on Sunday, preparing for their much-anticipated bilateral series against Germany. The Indian Men's Hockey Team, who are fresh from their Asian Champions Trophy triumph, will host Germany at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi.

Skipper Harmanpreet Singh expressed optimism ahead of the matches, stating, "It is a good team. We have dominated the last four to five matches we have played. We hope for a good match between the two teams," he told ANI. International hockey returns to New Delhi after a decade, attracting several dignitaries and former hockey legends, including Harbinder and Zafar.

India last played at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium during the Hockey World League Final - Men's Round 4 back in January 2014. Their recent victory in the men's Asian Champions Trophy, marked by a 1-0 win over China, showcases India's growing prowess in the sport, dubbed 'Fultonball,' which emphasizes strategic plays over brute force.
