Rajasthan's Lakhan Singh emerged victorious, seizing the gold medal in the men's S4 100m freestyle event at the National Para-Swimming Championship on Sunday, clocking an impressive time of 3:04.50. Kamalkant from Odisha and Haryana's Balraj clinched silver and bronze, respectively.
Odisha's Narhari secured a distinguished win in the S5 100m freestyle with a stellar time of 1:54.73, narrowly beating Andhra Pradesh's Lakshmarao and Bihar's Shams Aalam, who claimed silver and bronze medals.
Maharashtra's standout, Chaitanya Vishwas, dominated the S6 100m freestyle by winning gold with a time of 1:15.64. Further, Karnataka marked a strong presence in the S7 and S8 categories, with Tejas and Shridhar taking golds. The S9 and S10 categories saw remarkable performances from Karnataka's Sahil Rajaram and Kapil Kumar from the Services, winning golds.
