Neymar Returns to Play: A Comeback Story
Neymar, after recovering from a serious knee injury, joins the Al-Hilal squad for their Asian Champions League match against UAE's Al-Ain. The Brazilian forward had not played since his injury in October last year during a World Cup qualifier. He is set to make a return for Al-Hilal.
Neymar is set to make his much-anticipated return to the field as he joins the Al-Hilal squad for their upcoming Asian Champions League match against Al-Ain in the UAE. This comes after the Brazilian star's recovery from a serious knee injury that sidelined him for almost a year.
The 32-year-old forward had not played competitively since suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury in October last year, during a World Cup qualifier with Uruguay. After moving from Paris St Germain to Al-Hilal for approximately 90 million euros, Neymar only featured in five matches before his injury woes.
Al-Hilal expressed their delight on the social media platform X, announcing Neymar's return to team training and confirming his presence for the away game against Al-Ain at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium.
