The Puneri Paltan launched their Pro Kabaddi League Season 11 campaign with a commanding victory over the Haryana Steelers, defeating them 35-25 at the GMCB Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad. Gaurav Khatri shone for the Paltan, amassing seven points, while Pankaj Mohite, Mohit Goyat, and Aman each scored four, and captain Aslam Inamdar added five to the tally.

Aslam Inamdar initiated the game energetically for the reigning champions, setting a high tempo that was matched by the Haryana Steelers. Both teams initially struggled to establish dominance, the Puneri Paltan leading narrowly at 7-6 midway through the first half. An all-out by Gaurav Khatri widened the Paltan's lead to six points. Contributions from Khatri, Goyat, Mohite, and Inamdar solidified their strong position, closing the first half at 19-13.

The second half saw a more cautious start, with the Paltan maintaining their lead. Despite efforts to rally from Mohammadreza Shadloui and the Steelers, the Puneri Paltan remained resolute, preventing a comeback. A late all-out by Inamdar sealed the win convincingly, as the Paltan finished with an emphatic victory.
