Pakistan's cricket team faces a challenging Test series as legspinner Abrar Ahmed has been hospitalized due to illness. ESPNcricinfo reported that Abrar experienced body aches and a high fever, preventing him from playing on Day 4 against England.

The Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed that Abrar underwent several tests and awaits results. During the match in Multan, Abrar struggled, conceding 174 runs without taking a wicket at an economy rate of 5.00, amid England's impeccable performance.

Abrar's current form contrasts sharply with his previous triumph against England, where he claimed 11 wickets. His career has been troubled by injuries since debuting for Peshawar Zalmi. In this Test, Joe Root and Harry Brook's record-breaking partnership helped England secure a strategic advantage over Pakistan.
