Team India is gearing up to wrap up the series as they face Bangladesh in the second T20I of the three-match competition at the Arun Jaitley Stadium this Wednesday. Having already secured a seven-wicket win in the first T20I in Gwalior, Suryakumar's squad leads 1-0, eyeing another victory.

India and Bangladesh have contested 15 T20 matches, with the Men in Blue having a superior record of 14 wins. In recent outings, India has a streak of five consecutive wins, while Bangladesh, led by Najmul Hossain Shanto, has only managed one victory in their last five games.

This year's Indian Premier League saw only five matches held at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, featuring eight innings surpassing the 200-run mark, indicating a potential high-scoring affair. Weather forecasts suggest clear skies with possible dew later, as per ESPNcricinfo. India's left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh stated that skipper Suryakumar Yadav and coach Gautam Gambhir are set to assess the pitch conditions.

Arshdeep said, "We [Punjab Kings] missed playing here this IPL, but observing the scores, I felt no need to check the wicket. Captain and coach will review and refine our game plan," he added in the pre-match presser. Meanwhile, Bangladesh's Mahmudullah praised their bowlers, emphasizing they should not be judged harshly for their first-game loss.

"Our bowlers have performed remarkably over the past few years. It's essential not to lose confidence due to one game," Mahmudullah remarked, who announced his retirement from T20I to concentrate on ODIs. The final match of his T20I career will take place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

Squads: India includes Sanju Samson, Suryakumar Yadav (c), among others. Bangladesh roster comprises Litton Das, Mahmudullah, and more renowned players. (ANI)
