McLaren's Lando Norris showcased exceptional speed by leading the final practice session for the Singapore Grand Prix, finishing nearly half a second ahead of his competitors on Saturday. The day's practice was briefly interrupted by a large lizard on the track.

Norris, who also led Friday's practice, clocked a time of one minute 29.646 seconds around the Marina Bay circuit, making him a clear favorite for Sunday's floodlit night race. Following him was George Russell, who was 0.479 seconds slower after crashing his Mercedes on Friday. McLaren's Oscar Piastri secured third place, trailing by 0.785 seconds.

Commenting on Norris' performance, former champion Nico Rosberg on Sky Sports said, "Lando is in a league of his own. The way he's driving his car puts it on rails. He's looking mighty out there; it's all close to perfection." Despite the strong showing, Norris remains 59 points behind Red Bull's Max Verstappen in the standings, with seven rounds still to go. Verstappen, who hasn't won in Singapore, improved his performance to fourth, while Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz finished fifth and sixth respectively.
