The USN Indians clinched a thrilling victory over the Dehradun Warriors by just five runs in an exciting contest at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, securing their place in the final of the Uttarakhand Premier League 2024. Chasing a challenging target of 214, the Warriors started shakily, losing opener Vaibhav Bhatt for a duck. However, Sanskar Rawat and captain Aditya Tare steadied the innings.

Despite a steady partnership, wickets continued to tumble, leaving the Warriors at 66/3 by the end of the Powerplay. Rawat's determination saw him race to a half-century in just 21 balls. Prashant Chauhan of USN Indians disrupted the Warriors' momentum by dismissing both Rawat and his partner, Sagar Rawat, in consecutive overs.

Batting first, the USN Indians displayed a commanding performance, with openers Yuvraj Chaudhary and Aarav Mahajan laying a strong foundation. Chaudhary's explosive 78, supported by contributions from Aryan Sharma and Abhinav Sharma, brought the total to 213/7. The disciplined bowling of the USN Indians in the final overs restricted Dehradun to 208/8, sealing their thrilling victory.
