India Triumphs Over Korea in Asian Champions Trophy

Defending champions India put up a stellar performance by defeating Korea 3-1 to claim their fourth consecutive win at the Hero Asian Champions Trophy hockey tournament on Thursday.
The victory comes on the heels of a strong showing against China, which India defeated 3-0, followed by a 5-0 win over Japan, and an impressive 8-1 thrashing of Malaysia. Paris Olympics bronze medallist Araijeet Singh Hundal scored in the 8th minute, while skipper Harmanpreet Singh scored twice in the 9th and 43rd minutes.
Korea's sole goal was scored by Jihun Yang in the 30th minute from a penalty corner. With a semifinal spot already sealed, India is set to face arch-rivals Pakistan in their final league match on Saturday. The top four teams from the league will advance to the semifinals on Saturday, with the final showdown scheduled for Sunday.
