Harry Kane is set to be honored with a gold cap to mark his 100th appearance for England shortly before their Nations League showdown with Finland at Wembley on Tuesday.
The Bayern Munich forward will become the 10th English player to achieve this milestone, following in the footsteps of Wayne Rooney, who reached 100 caps in 2014. Kane, already the national team's top goal scorer with 66 goals, will lead as captain for the 73rd time.
England Football Association confirmed on Monday that the 31-year-old, seen practicing in golden boots, will start the match. Kane has appeared in more major finals and competitive matches than any other English male player, setting another benchmark in his illustrious career.
