Roglic executed a strategic breakaway halfway through the 11 km climb, crossing the finish line 46 seconds ahead of Frenchman David Gaudu. Denmark's Mattias Skjelmose claimed third place, while Australian Ben O'Connor, aware of the challenge, slipped to 12th and now trails Roglic by one minute and 54 seconds.
Roglic's standout performance solidified his grip on the leader's red jersey, creating a significant gap from his closest competitors.
