James Slipper Poised to Equal Australia's Test Cap Record

Veteran prop James Slipper is on track to tie Australia's record for the most test caps after being selected for Saturday's Rugby Championship encounter with Argentina in Santa Fe.

Slipper, named among the replacements, will earn his 139th cap, equaling former captain George Gregan, if he takes the field. His return follows a head injury to fellow loosehead prop Isaac Kailea.

Coach Joe Schmidt lauded Slipper's milestone and his team-first attitude: "He's the ultimate team man, and I know the whole group will do everything they can to make it a memorable milestone."
