A surge of late evening medals boosted India's tally to 20 (3 gold, 7 silver, 10 bronze), surpassing the 19 medals achieved at the Tokyo Paralympic Games three years ago.
On an exceptional day for Indian para sports, the track and field athletes showcased their prowess at the iconic Stade de France, claiming five medals, including two silver and three bronze, ending day six of the quadrennial event ranked 17th.
